OUR STORY
How did we get our start?
Be The Architect was co-founded by 2 dynamic people with a common journey and mission. Hill Harper, award winning actor, philanthropist, best-selling author, and cancer survivor and Jean-Marc Piquion, entrepreneur, marketing & brand strategist, and father of a cancer survivor. Without knowing each other at the time, our co-founders struggled with cancer diagnoses in 2010. Both were fortunate; Hill overcame thyroid cancer and Jean-Marc’s son beat leukemia. These events triggered the journeys to educate themselves and others about the harmful toxins we consume and the link to cancer. Life brought them together in 2015 and Be The Architect was born. Their mission is simple but powerful: provide premium personal care products at affordable prices free of harsh chemicals, while bringing awareness to adopting safe products for your skin and hair.
What makes our products unique?
Our brands, JUA Essentials for women and H2L for men, are created with an innovative fusion of fine oils, natural plant extracts and ingredients rich in nutrient, antioxidants, reparative and moisturizing elements that enhance the health of your skin and hair. The oil from the Baobab tree, known as the “TREE OF LIFE” due to its vast health benefits, serves as the foundation for the entire range of JUA and H2L products. Baobab oil is noted for its unparalleled ability to hydrate, rejuvenate and nourish while protecting skin and hair with its antioxidant properties. Our entire line of products for skin and hair is infused with rich baobab oil. Other key ingredients include oils such as avocado, sweet almond, argan, chia see and shea butter. The magic behind our brands and our delivery of the ultimate customer experience happens at our State of the Art facility located in Miami, Florida.
